Operation Julius (JUNE 2012)

Crime levels in Lancashire are at an all time low and it is our firm intention to ensure they remain that way.

We are committed to tackling burglary. Offenders will be pursued and brought to justice.

Every community has a dedicated neighbourhood policing team, responsible for working with local communities to prevent and detect crime.

Lancashire Constabulary is working with partners to address crimes like burglary including organisations like Neighbourhood Watch.

Extra high visibility patrols will be taking place in and around areas where there have been problems in order to help deter thieves and reassure residents.

You face an increased risk if your property is left insecure – an open window or door is an open opportunity for thieves.

We need residents to help us keep crime low. Always keep your homes doors and windows locked – even if you are in.

Crime prevention information advice is available from your local neighbourhood policing team or you can visit www.lancashire.police.uk for hints and tips on how to keep your property safe.

Help us keep crime levels low in Lancashire. If you have any information which may assist the police, contact us on 101 or call Crimestoppers free and anonymously on 0800 555 111. In an emergency always dial 999.
